🏸 A proud moment welcoming Shakwat Hossain Joy to ISD!
Shakwat Hossain Joy, a national badminton team player for Bangladesh, who has played in major tournaments such as, the National Championships, Yonex Sunrise Bangladesh International Series, Indonesia BliBli International Series, India Junior International Challenge, and Malaysia International Challenge, met our students at a special middle and high school badminton practice session at our school campus.
Joy shared several top tips, playing techniques, and inspired students by sharing his own personal experiences. Our students were truly engaged as they learned about footwork skills, game strategy, and Joy’s professional journey of how hard work and dedication contributed to his successes.

The college counseling program at ISD is designed to support students as they make the transition to higher education. Our goal is to provide students and parents with the information and support they need for a successful and positive college process. We encourage students to focus on finding the ‘best-fit’ university match. For our students, that means identifying and applying to colleges and universities where they will be intellectually challenged and socially engaged; schools which will encourage and inspire them as learners, thinkers, and global citizens.ISD is one of the few schools in Dhaka with an onsite SAT test center, offering college preparatory tests for secondary students from Grade 10.
